Developed the Listos California Emergency Preparedness Awareness Campaign (Listos CA) city-wide outreach program. Developed program talking points, identified community-based stakeholders, created outreach presentations and collateral, scheduled and conducted public-facing outreach events with CBO stakeholders throughout San Francisco and collaborated with internal and external leadership at the management and executive levels to develop the contracting, reporting and program close-out process for successful community partnerships.Led as the main liaison for connecting SF CARD staff to community engagement and recruitment opportunities for the Listos CA public outreach program between 2019 and 2021. Outreached to 40 community- and faith-based organizations and onboarded 30. Directed over $250K in Listos CA sub-grants to Bayview organizations. Maintained a specific emphasis on partnering with organizations serving racially and socio-economically vulnerable populations in San Francisco.Planned all in-person outreach events, including all Sunday Streets events, Neighborfest events and other community-based place-making events to reach 100,000 vulnerable residents. Redesigned outreach strategies, including recruitment of new partners, message delivery and demographic and outcomes data reporting platforms to reach the target populations during the City’s stay-at-home order. Reached over 140,000 San Francisco residents between 2019 and 2021, 95% of whom were members of racially or socio-economically vulnerable populations, with program collateral in multiple languages, including Cantonese and Spanish. Exceeded the target number of engagements in four of five social vulnerability target areas: people in poverty (130%), limited English speakers (160%), nonwhite or Hispanic residents (130%) and older residents (110%).
