I grew the firm from a one-man operation in 2001 to a 600-employee company with operations in the US, Middle East and Asia. In 2023, we acquired Ilantus and added Identity and Access Management capabilities to our portfolio. And finally, with the Institute of Information Security, we train and empower cybersecurity folks across the world. Personally, I started my career as a self-taught pen-tester, then moved onto doing governance and risk management, then added forensics and incident response to my skillset. It's been an amazing journey over two decades seeing the cybersecurity landscape evolve. I am also the co-author of two books (Linux Security And Controls by ISACA, and Metasploit Framework, by Syngress Publishing), and numerous articles on information security. One of my earliest career milestones was presenting at Blackhat in 2004 on "Detecting web application attacks".I am an avid mountaineer and trekker and love pushing my boundaries.
