I've long wondered why so many people who are good at their jobs don't feel fulfilled. At the age of 36, I was a director in a larger company. But I never felt that this was an accomplishment or something to be proud of.After that, I did OK. Others said I was an above-average performer. Sometimes I was told not to complain because I had a great family and a good income. So I tried to be content with my life. I liked to cook, so I trained as a chef and took many other courses. Nothing changed in my professional happiness. Mindfulness and meditation didn't help either.I believed that talent and hard work always paid off. The truth was that talent is the safest place you can be.I was always trying to see what I could do with my skills and how I could continue to develop my innate talent. Sounds normal, right? But it's a fixed mindset. This mindset kept me from figuring out what I really wanted in life. And figuring out what was necessary to achieve that goal.I discovered that I was a victim of the "life is like school" mentality. In school, your talent and hard work determine your results. It wasn't easy to admit to myself that I lacked the growth mindset to escape this. But how could I develop a growth mindset?Since 2017, my struggle has taught me that you can't choose your mindset. It's the result of a process of change. There is a strong correlation between Growth Mindset and results, but little causality. In 2022, I developed a program called Biology of Success to help others develop a Growth Mindset through a process of change so they can achieve more for themselves and feel fulfilled.Contact me if you're interested. Only for people who are open to questioning the obvious.

Asking The Difficult Questions And Help Your Team To Answer Them2Km2C Sep 2001 - PresentSchildeI help organizations generate more revenue with less cost by asking the tough questions in concrete projects, and then guiding the project team to create a solution that makes a difference in the longer term. I am not a project manager, nor even a consultant, but rather act as a mentor/coach to project teams. My three favorite questions are these:1) What problem are we solving?2) What is it that the customer would really want?3) What can be made simpler?Any consultant will tell you to be effective and customer focused. That you should strive for simplicity. Often a complicated methodology or difficult report is delivered. That is not how I work!Put the above questions on a sheet and ask them in every meeting. You will see that your team will produce better solutions. Keep asking them 😀. I help organizations improve with only one measure: more income with less cost in the long run. Maybe this is arrogant to state, but I've seen it makes all the difference.I help through "in-team" coaching. You can best compare this to an independent director on a board of directors, but then taking a seat in the meetings of an operational or project team where the action is. Sometimes, I also work in the team, as long as this does not reduce the opportunities to ask difficult questions independently. To maintain enough distance, I rarely work full-time in a team. In most cases one or two days a week. What can I do for you specifically?1️⃣ Operational screening: We search for the fundamental causes of the non-optimal functioning of the team by participating in meetings and a selection of interviews of your managers and experts. Everything can be considered: objectives, team functioning, capabilities, strategy, organization, management.2️⃣ Business Coaching for Teams: I help a team to achieve its results during an agreed time, or in continuous mode until the team has delivered its deliverables. Leave a message for an exploratory meeting.

Mindset ScoutBiology Of Success Academy Jan 2023 - Aug 2024Schilde, Flemish Region, BelgiumI help people who are trapped in their current job situation and can't break out. Are you sure that you can achieve more than others around you believe? In your opinion, are you...- stuck on the career ladder,- ready to start a business, but you can't get off the ground,- you're hoping to monetize your knowledge as a consultant or trainer,- you're struggling to grow your business,- struggling to build or grow a team. You know you have it in you, but you keep struggling?Stop looking for new strategies and ways to work harder. You're falling into the "life is like school" mentality. That is, if you work hard and are talented, success should come just like it did in school. My ideal audience is people who want to take immediate action and break through the barriers they feel but can't pinpoint. You don't have to tell me all your secrets or traumas. You won't be asked to meditate, hug trees, or walk over hot coals or between horses. Nor will we put you in the therapy chair.Together we'll find out what limiting beliefs you have developed that are holding you back. The process I use has been developed over years and is based on the knowledge of how we learn and change. At the same time, you'll explore your own path of change and growth. Here's how I help you:Private 1:1 - Contact me personally if you're looking for private mentoring. I promise to tell you the truth every time. This is the best sounding board you can have.Mastermind - Develop your growth mindset with other professionals and entrepreneurs with ambition. Accountability is guaranteed.Life Online Course - a 12-week course where I teach you the change process. Only if you can hold yourself accountable and have at least one person who knows you well and who you trust to tell you the truth. -

Mindset Trainer | Everything Starts With MindsetDiy Growth Strategies Jan 2017 - Dec 2022Schilde, Flemish Region, BelgiumI help ambitious people achieve their goals by working on the 6 domains that are proven to activate the success mechanism everybody has:1. Clarity about what you really want, so you don't waste time on irrelevancies,2. Management of emotions and beliefs, so that they do not get in the way,3. Building up self-confidence, so that you take action,4. Building energy, so you have more time to work on your dreams,5. Gain influence, so you get the support you really need,6. Increasing productivity, so that things really get done.Dreams and hard work brought you where you are now. That is what most people believe, and it is true. But it is not the whole truth. Everyone has a success mechanism in them that brought them the results they have today. It helped you as a child to learn most of the things you need to function like walking, talking etc..In short? There is no reason why it should not help you to achieve the results you want now. The success mechanism is still inside you. There is a guide to re-activating the success mechanism for any goal you set, even if you now think a goal is impossible.Do you want this? The key is to change your habits and beliefs. I myself started very small and built up habit after habit, changing belief after belief. It's like saving, you start small but if you stick with it, the compound effect will make you a millionaire. No more effort than you can manage. One client says:"Each week he has encouraged me to question myself to challenge my habits, making me a happier, more energetic and productive person in both my personal and professional life. "

Insurance Industry StrategistProjective Mar 2017 - Sep 2022DiegemI help insurance companies reinvent themselves in 3 areas:1) Business Model: peer-2-peer, swipe-insurance, embedded insurance, etc.... On which one should you bet right now? Do you need to choose?2) Innovative Services: How can you innovate your offerings so you really make a difference? Is your customer waiting for an overview of policies, mileage insurance or a digital signature? Or does he want something completely different? How to make your investments profitable?3) Customer Focus: It's difficult to build a positive image. True customer focus will bring your costs down! But what does the customer want?Three trends are clear in insurance:1) Technology, globalization and climate impact, "normal" risks decrease and "extreme" risks rise. How can the traditional business model cope with this?2) The value chain is transforming. Intermediaries reposition themselves, insur-techs enter the value chain, new services are being offered, digital is unstoppable, customers demand more service. How to prepare without jeopardizing the existing revenue stream?3) Regulation, innovation and the changing distribution landscape increases complexity. How to organize and create a flexible operational model for the future that remains affordable?I help you by:1) Prioritizing: which initiatives help you and how to set them up so you have faster time-to-market and a future-proof model.2) In-teams coaching: I have 30 years of experience, nationally and internationally, I focus on saving time and costs by engaging in your team's discussions and shortening the learning curve of the transformation (also check out 2km2c for in-teams coaching).3) Innovation: I am happy to help you set up and guide innovative projects. No studies, just get started and build. Projects are more international, with extra complexity because of varying cultures and regulations. Drop me a message, and I will contact you -
