• Configured and customized SAP ECC 6.0 settings, for the rollouts, support and enhancements according to client requirements• Developed functional design documents and worked closely with a team of ABAP programmers to meet the needs of clients.• Created the blueprint for the FI Organization structure including chart of accounts, account groups in General Ledger and its relevant master data, Configured various FI components such as incoming payments, reason codes in accounts receivable and master data, outgoing payments, open item clearing in A/P. • In Cost Center Accounting created cost centers, activity types, statistical key figures, Cost Center Standard Hierarchy, cost center categories, document numbers, maintained default account assignments and automatic account assignments and indirect activity allocations.• Hands-on configuration in the Fixed Assets module based on initial blueprint. Helped with loading Asset Master for client’s 12 company codes. • Configuration of CIN version to suit Indian Tax Procedures. Configured the withholding tax requirements for the CIN version. • Designed Inter-Company and intra-company transaction process between different manufacturing facilities.• Tested the Balance Sheets and Income statements for the CIN version to ensure statutory reporting requirements were satisfied. • Production support and problem analysis of entire FI module. Creation and modification of financial reports using Report Painter.• Delivered the FICO training to a wide audience of users and technical resources. Created and delivered follow-up workshops focusing on areas of new functionality as requested by the client• Prepared As-is Process with extensive interactions with clients and mapped the process onto SAP systems to develop and document To-be Process.
