Overview of PositionThe Site Director is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day programming and operation of the By The Hand Club at charter school. This position is responsible for developing and managing team leaders and assistant team leaders, and working in collaboration with the charter school principal. This individual is also responsible for ensuring church and state boundaries are respected. Responsibilities Works in a way that is consistent with the vision, mission, and culture of By The Hand Club and ensures excellence in every aspect of the overall operation. Ensures site meets overall targets for achievement with an emphasis on academic and spiritual progress, attendance, and retention for all students. Promotes a climate that includes high expectations for students and staff and a productive and engaging work environment in which effective learning can occur. Creates a framework for developing and maintaining strong parent and community relationships and ensures a strong community presence. Creates a program of strong spiritual development including an providing an engaging daily chapel experience and tracks spiritual milestones for students. Develops enrichment partnerships and identifies multiple resources in order to offer compelling enrichment experiences.  Holds team leaders accountable for attendance, enrollment, and home/school visits metrics and provides support and direction as required. Manages the budget, staff scheduling, volunteer coordination, facilities and transportation, and all other administrative responsibilities. Works with staff to create personal development plans that are aligned to the strategic plan and coaches staff on a regular basis in order to ensure effective plan execution.  Oversees daily programming and helps coordinate special events such as Spring Benefit student participation, ABC parties, etc.
