Kara is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work and manages program development and evaluation at ONETrack International.She has developed, facilitated, and evaluated a wide variety of topics for both youth and adults in academic, athletic, language acquisition, creative, and natural environments throughout the US and around the world. Kara has developed diverse sets of curricula and lesson plans for both adult and child learners that have been facilitated in both English and Spanish, online and in person. Kara is also passionate about bringing a social work perspective to the business industry. She has worked for a number of small startups and social enterprises. Kara has worked in the aftermath of devastating disasters caused by conflict and the climate crisis since 2013 and has been working in international development since 2010. Kara has held professional, research, and volunteer positions in 11 countries (Spain, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Malawi, Antigua/Barbuda, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, Honduras, Greece). Her current work with ONETrack International allows her to work remotely with projects and organizations based in 8 countries (Cambodia, Cameroon, Colombia, the Gambia, Honduras, Kosovo, Liberia, Zimbabwe).
