I was part of the project management team at Hexicon, a developer and designer of floating platforms for offshore wind energy, working as assisting project manager in a Scottish project. The project aims to develop, manufacture and install a full-scale platform with three wind turbines in Scottish waters by mid-2018 and has a total budget of around EUR 90 M. months. The role implied lots of documentation and writing in various forms to both private companies as well as British authorities.

Title: Multiple use of an offshore wind energy platformThe master thesis aimed to identify and evaluate possibilities to develop the platform for floating offshore wind energy that Hexicon AB is developing. The study was targeted towards increasing the usage of the platform through addition of new functionalities and thereby increasing the value of the product. This included, among other things, concept development and concept evaluation.
