I've started my career as a business analyst in the Macedonian Government, working in the field of investment promotion where I was in charge of analyzing and provisionally approving the business plans for the FDI projects in Macedonia. I was also part of Government's State Aid Negotiation Team where I was responsible for drafting the State Aid agreements, negotiating both the financial packages and legal parts of the agreements with the foreign investors as well as doing financial analysis of state aid packages and scenarios.I was then recruited by a fast-growing startup working internationally in the GCC market where I established an entirely new department in charge of the development of Learning & Development products as well as recruiting international experts to support and sustain the growth of the organization. Under my watch, the department became Leoron's biggest cost centre, enabling the increase of delivered educational programs from 250 to 1200 annually, while growing my team to 12 people in a period of 5 years. Few years into my tenure, Leoron has entered the consulting business and I was groomed into Associate Director of Consulting Services specializing in HR consultancy such as competency modeling and developing Competency Frameworks, conducting TNAs, creating and implementing Assessment Centers, establishing Corporate Universities, and developing Job Descriptions. I was delivering training programs for Leoron's clients as well. In the beginning of 2021, I was appointed as CEO in charge of launching Brainster Next, the first applied IT college in the country. My main responsibility is to establish Brainster Next College as an institution that will bring international best practices and improve the tech higher education in Macedonia. As of June 2021, I also took over as Chief People Officer of Brainster, focusing on empowering our employees to achieve Brainster's mission and vision, and together with them, to create a culture that attracts and inspires the best talent.I consider myself a generalist. I have Bachelor of Laws (LLB) as well as a MBA from one of top 100 universities in Europe. Working for multiple international organizations, both full-time and as a consultant, I've discovered that much of the management’s decision-making is based on hunches as well as limited and imperfect data which has motivated me to enroll and graduate from a 1-year Data Science Bootcamp in order to understand how to harness power of data for informed decision-making. Data ScienceFreelance Aug 2020 - May 2021I've worked on 2 real-world and 1 real-life projects. The two real-world projects were for a commercial bank that has offices in different countries. The first project was focusing on designing database in SQL for Salary management for the employees of the commercial bank across the globe. The created database is used to store and manage basic information about the employee and additionally manage monthly salary for each employee. Then the project was visualized in Power BI where the SQL database was used for creating visualizations for Department, Actives, Separations, Recruitment in the bank and creating new measures with DAX formulas based on the requests by the commercial bank.The second project was done in python, utilizing jupyter notebook and machine learning techniques using several mainstream libraries such as Numpy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pandas and Matplotlib so we can determine which of the bank's client shall accept the bank's offer for putting long-term savings deposit in the bank based on past performance of such campaigns. Project for Macedonia 2025Data gathering and modeling in Power BI from various dynamic sources such as Eurostat, World Bank etc. for 15 macroeconomic indicators selected by Macedonia 2025 in order to measure the development of Macedonian economy and the wellbeing of the Macedonian citizens.
