Managing the effective day to day 'front line' operation of a leisure facility. As a Leisure Duty Manager, my responsibility was to ensure the facility is prepared for use in accordance with the planned activity programme and that all areas are maintained to the highest possible standards of health and safety, cleanliness, security and operational effectiveness. These facilities varied in size and the services available were such as swimming pools, heat treatment rooms, squash courts, exercise studios, multiple gyms and front of house.
