Lead the NCAR Project Management (NPM) team in the NCAR Director's Office, a group with responsibility for providing project management support for cross-organizational strategic initiatives and the development and implementation of necessary project management planning and execution processes and tools. Served as Project Manager (PM) for development of the NCAR 2020-2024 Strategic Plan. Current project management responsibilities include:- Facilitating development and execution of the NCAR Implementation Plan (IP)- Managing the support team and providing logistical support and structure for the NCAR 2021 Mid-Term Review (Site Visit Team; SVT) preparation effort- Serving as PM for the COSMO Site and Design Advancement (COSADA) project, working with colleagues in the NCAR High Altitude Observatory (HAO) to plan for and conduct the site survey and Large Coronagraph (LC) design efforts necessary to mitigate risk and successfully pursue construction of the COronal Solar Magnetism Observatory (COSMO).

Provided project management assistance for project proposals developed by NCAR/High Altitude Observatory (HAO) personnel and supported the NCAR Directorate as project manager for the NCAR strategic plan development effort.

Served as the project management consultant for design of a multimillion-dollar environmental simulation and testing facility. Served as research and writing mentor to D.B.A. program students, providing guidance in the appropriate design and conduct of applied business research studies and in the preparation of final doctoral study documents for university approval and publication. Taught doctoral level mentoring, research, and program and portfolio management courses, including facilitating weekly discussions in online learning environment (Blackboard) and providing constructive written feedback on submitted papers. Led the development of robust scope, schedule, and budget baselines for a $105 million Engineering Education and Research Building (EERB) and ensured stakeholder requirements were effectively captured and integrated into project plans. Coordinated and integrated the efforts of project team members (university faculty and staff, design professionals, general contractor, and commissioning agent) working to execute the EERB project. Served as the project liaison with key EERB stakeholders, including UW Administration, the Wyoming Governor’s Energy, Engineering, STEM Integration Task Force (WGEESIT), UW Board of Trustees, UW Foundation, and UW deans, faculty, and students. Led the effort to define initial stakeholder requirements and scope, schedule, and budget baselines for an approximately $50 million High Bay Research Facility (HBRF) and established necessary project structures prior to transition of project completion responsibility to construction management personnel. Collaborated with UW Architect and Associate General Counsel on the development of updated contractual instruments and management procedures required for more effective execution of UW capital construction projects.

Responsible for overall scope, budget, and schedule coordination and execution. Corporate officer with responsibility for structuring and conduct of NEON, Inc. operations.

Project manager for NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC) construction project. Project/task and personnel scheduling, project budget formulation and management, programmatic risk assessment and mitigation, team building and leadership, communications and collaborations with project partners and stakeholders. Drove project completion approximately 2 months ahead of schedule and nearly $4 million under budget.

Facilitation of infrastructure development project planning within the NCAR laboratories and serving as the NCAR Director's Office liaison with the National Science Foundation (NSF) for these projects. Coordinated efforts of institutional personnel to complete a comprehensive facilities space needs assessment and led initial organizational effort to develop new financial tools and processes for UCAR/NCAR.

Project manager for the acquisition, modification, and initial development of the National Science Foundation (NSF)/NCAR Gulfstream V (GV) research aircraft. Managing the $81.5 million program budget, project/task and personnel scheduling, project budget formulation and management, programmatic risk assessment and mitigation, team building and leadership. Restructured program budgets upon becoming Project Director and applied fiscal discipline, resulting in project completion $3 million under budget.
