Klaus Gesing is a saxophonist, clarinetist, composer and improvising musician who works together with many well know artists in the field of Jazz, World Music, Film Music, Improvisation and Live Looping. His activities and projects comprise collaborations with Anouar Brahem, Norma Winstone, Glauco Venier, Samuel Rohrer, Björn Meyer, Peter Herbert, among many others. Of the aforementioned collaborations those with Anouar Brahem and in Trio with Norma Winstone and Glauco Venier have been published on the German record label ECM. Other labels of reference are Arjuna Music and ATS-Records. In addition to this he continuously works with his solo project reaLTime, which he publishes on his own label TonSpuren. Alongside his activities as a performing musician he teaches at the Conservatory G. Tartini in Trieste/Italy.
