Engaging with early adopters, collecting feedback, and iterating on the product was exhilarating. Eventually, that product grew into a full fundraising suite, including a fully certified online raffle platform with a robust, high-availability architecture.In the last decade, I’ve also worked with a dozen clients, designing and building a variety of solutions, including gamified training for nurses, end-to-end digitization of a manufacturing business, a custom CRM for a wholesaler, a customer portal and project management dashboard for fabrication business, and a social networking app.When I say I built these solutions, I mean that I worked with clients and customers to define the solution, create the data models, and architect the system. I was hands-on throughout development, establishing a solid foundation early on and leading small teams to efficiently deliver the solutions.From my experience, the biggest risk to any project is poor communication with stakeholders, especially the end users, and not iterating quickly enough.
