The new Solid State RF Energy Section within IMPI strive to continue the work of the RF Energy Alliance organization now as a section within IMPI. Although the organizational structure has changed the goals and ideas are still the same: To promote and facilitate the introduction of the solid state RF technology as a clean, selective and innovative energy source into a whole host of dielectric heating applications. These range from food processing (pasteurization, sterilization, reheating, aging) over plasma creation and -lighting, automotive ignition, and a large variety of medical (treatment) applications.
