You know that person that emcee's events and tells really bad jokes between acts but manages to never skip a beat?That's me.Having been publicity director for a theater company, master of communications for a youth empowerment program, and told at 17 outside of grocery stores "aren't you a little old to be selling Girl Scout cookies" I have developed a huge range of skills to effectively promote, sell, advertise, and communicate products and events. All while putting a smile on clients faces and assuring satisfaction.My clients also smile when I have my camera on them. Ever since traveling the North American continent at a young age I have had a camera in my hands. During High School I started Lavoy Photography which initially was to help my classmates have beautiful photos for the year book. It grew to becoming project leader for my High School's television program when I photographed daily activities, took video, acted, edited and finalized my projects and took the work of all my peers to do final editing for our weekly show. Though it was a huge time consuming commitment I was/am super passionate about capturing and sharing moments with a camera.Beyond promotion and photography I have developed great interpersonal communications skills as well as public speaking. I found myself commonly refereed to as the "Cover Girl" for many of the programs I completed.I also have been a barista where I completed good customer service and was rewarded for good reviews from the customers themselves. I also was behind much of my coffee shop's social media working together with my boss. I was also a tennis coach, and I worked with all ages and taught many different types of learners and always managed to have a happy team.I have never hated a job. I am looking to keep expanding my horizons and begin building my career. I am very committed and look-forward to each and every opportunity I have to make myself and the world around me feel and be connected.
