I am an experienced dual qualified corporate and commercial Associate Attorney, admitted and enrolled as a Legal Practitioner and Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and enrolled as a solicitor in the Senior Courts of England and Wales. My areas of interest and focus include Commercial Law focusing on IP, IT and Data Protection. I also have experience with Insurance law, Transnational Contract Law, Dispute Resolution and International Competition Law. I have acted in various litigation matters arising both pre and post dispute. My business and economic background assists in my commercial awareness and understanding of the African market and its international presence.I obtained a Master of Laws Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law (with Distinction) at Queen Mary University of London in 2020. During which time I was the coach of the 27th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team for Queen Mary University of London - whereby I was tasked with equipping our team (fellow colleagues) with the necessary skills in advocacy and arbitration hearings. In 2021 I graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) (with Merit) from BPP University, United Kingdom. I was a member of the Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC). My role included contributing to, and negotiating with, both staff, students and the student representative association. I competed the LPC LLM (Master of Laws in Legal Practice) at BPP University to pursue dual qualification in both South Africa and England and Wales. I was once again a SSLC Committee Member for the Bristol LPC Cohort - a position I thoroughly enjoyed - both through its challenges and it’s progressive outcomes. Prior to moving to the United Kingdom I obtained two degrees. I am an alumni of the University of the Witwatersrand from which I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (2015) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree (with Distinction) (2017).
