Joe is the Chief Technology Officer of TalentEi, a unique employment matching software platform spun off from Detroit-based Digerati, Inc. in 2019. Joe is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Digerati, a Software Development and Process Improvement company. Joe directs the company’s technology vision and oversees implementation and delivery of software development and IT services. He also leads Digerati’s strategic planning initiatives, driving change to meet the demands of a growing, innovative technology company. Joe has over a decade of proven expertise and thought leadership in software development methodology and driving organizational change through the intelligent application of technology. Under Joe’s technical and strategic leadership, Digerati has been honored with numerous awards, including the Midwest Collaboration Award, the Corp! Economic Bright Spot and Digitial/Science/Technology Awards. Joe was also recognized as a Crain's Detroit Business CIO of The Year in 2013.Joe has extensive experience in design and development of object-oriented and highly reusable systems. He maintains a hands-on approach to his role at Digerati and is a recognized expert in the disciplines of software/website design and production, database administration and application development. He regularly serves as an adviser and consultant for start-up technology firms and small businesses throughout metro Detroit and across the country.Joe received his BSE in Computer Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan. Outside the office Joe is actively involved in the community, having served on the Board of Directors of The Children’s Center of Wayne County and The MORE Program, both located in Detroit. At United Way SEM, Joe co-founded the Emerging Philanthropists program, and served as a member of the Technology Advisory Workgroup. Joe is a member of numerous professional associations, and a graduate of the Leadership Detroit program.
