The Prefontaine Classic is the premiere track & field meet in the United States, and the only stop in North America on the prestigious World Athletics Tour. Since 2000, it has been ranked first among all annual track & field meets outside of Europe by the IAAF, the international governing body for the sport. The meet features an international broadcast, 250 elite athletes, 24 events and 20,000 spectators over two days.As Chief Assistant, main duties are to facilitate event logistics and work directly with Meet Director, Director of Operations, Venue Manager, and Volunteer Chair.

• Produced event logistical plan including, but not limited to, sponsor hospitality, public transportation, and tournament infrastructure. Tournament saw over 50,000 spectators, 800 volunteers, and over 100 sponsors in 2012.• Built and managed $1.9 million Operations budget each year.• Directed volunteer force of 800 individuals. Developed and implemented new organization structure for volunteer force in 2011/2012.

As the Tournament Director Intern, I assited the Director with many administrative duties, assited with product inventory management, assited sponsors and guests during tournament week, and worked the on-site tournament office every day of advance and tournament week.
