Eli Kleinsmith is a filmmaker/composer from Louisville, Ky. He began his filmmaking career as a documentarian, producing several short docs and experimental films using found footage. In 2013, he interned under filmmaker Mimi Pickering (The Buffalo Creek Flood: An Act of Man) at Appalshop in Whitesburg, Ky. Since then, Eli has worked as a digital imaging technician on the short films Roman Citizen and Blood is Thicker. He recently finished his undergraduate thesis film entitled Paperboy and is currently submitting in to festivals around the country.
