Ever since I was a little child, I have been captivated by the beauty and logic of mathematics. Throughout primary and high school, I actively participated in math competitions and sought out challenges that pushed my understanding further. Naturally, this enthusiasm guided me to pursue a degree in Mathematics at university. At university, I explored various mathematical fields, including Calculus, Algebra and Geometry. However, my interest gravitated toward Applied Mathematics and Business Research, motivating me to pursue a master’s degree in Statistics and Data Analysis. This passion guided me through my education at AUEB, where I earned my master’s degree in Statistics and Data Analysis. During my studies, I developed strong expertise in R, which I now use confidently for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. With my academic foundation and technical skills, I am now eager to contribute as a professional data analyst to a globally recognized organization or company.Beyond my love for statistics, I have another lifelong passion: chess. From a young age, I competed in national, European, and world championships, which deepened my appreciation for the game. Today, I am proud to serve as an international arbiter and a DGT e-board operator at prominent chess tournaments. Notably, I was a DGT e-board operator at the 45th Chess Olympiad (2024) in Budapest, Hungary, and the 38th European Chess Club Cup (2023) in Durres, Albania. I remain actively involved in the Greek chess community, with a particular focus on fostering the local chess scene in Thessaloniki.
