I am a retired registered nurse with more than 40 years of healthcare quality, informatics, management, clinical, research, and education experience. The last 25 plus years have been spent helping different areas of the US Department of Health and Human Services solve informatics problems and the last 10 plus years supporting CMS quality programs.My work included leading the updates to the CMS Measures Management System (MMS) Blueprint, including transitioning the Blueprint to the CMS MMS Hub, and eCQM standards education and outreach. I was the senior SME for the operations and maintenance of the eCQI Resource Center- the one stop shop for the most current resources to support electronic clinical quality improvement.I have a PhD in Human Services, a BS and MS in Nursing, and an EdM in Human Resource Education. I am certified in Nursing Informatics and a Certified Professional In Healthcare Quality. I am an AMIA Fellow.Specialties: Quality and performance measurement, nursing Informatics, health Informatics, ontology development, standard health terminologies, health and human services, policy, health services research
