Farm Manager
Current- Supervise, support, and train day services staff and job coaches - Supervise, support, and teach people with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of vegetable farming, landscaping, maintenance, and grounds keeping- Plan and coordinate daily activities and work assignments for landscape and farm crews- Develop and implement day program schedules and assign staff to different program sides- Teach and train people with disabilities in the use of landscaping and farming equipment like tractors, riding mowers, gas mowers, leaf blowers, chain saws, and snow blowers- Maintenance and light repair of buildings, farming and landscape equipment- Teach vocational, occupational health & safety, and social skills classes- Track, review, and submit individual’s attendance records, time sheets, and incident reports- Chief Editor of the monthly Farm & Supported Employment Newsletter- Member of the strategic planning committee of the Langton Green Community Farm- Recruit and supervise volunteers at day services' sides- Attend team and IP meetings and assist with the development of career goals
