Worked on completing my multiple-subject credential and bilingual authorization requirements in a Dual-Language Kindergarten classroom. For the entirety of the Fall 2023 semester, I worked close under the aid of a master teacher. I created several lessons in every subject using the California State Standards in both English and Spanish, created a safe learning environment for every student, and provided all the support necessary for the students in this classroom. Apart from creating and teaching the six lessons required of me for the multiple subject credential, I also had full control and lead of the classroom for an entire month (with supervision on the master teacher). Furthermore, during my time at this school, I participated in the creation of three school programs (Hispanic Heritage Month dance, grade-level winter show, and a dual-language winter program) along with the other teachers and staff on site. I was successful in creating meaningful relationships with all students, their families, and overall school staff for the benefit and success of their student(s) in our Kindergarten classroom.

For the entire Spring 2023 semester at South Park Elementary School, I served as a student teacher in a Dual-Language, third-grade classroom. Under the supervision of a master teacher, I was able to observe and support this classroom while creating meaningful connections to the students and staff at this school site. Furthermore, I was able to take lead in teaching a few lessons in both English and Spanish. Furthermore, I supported the master teacher of this third grade class in lesson prep, and event coordination during their Spring semester.
