VoloMetrix (acquired by Microsoft) is a people analytics technology company that uses big data to optimize organizational performance, providing executives visibility into the daily activities and relationships that propel business forward. * Designed and implemented various components of ETL process, Gmail and Exchange extractors, installer with custom configuration upgrade functionality. * Development included use of both C# and F# in an Agile/Scrum environment.

* Implemented handling of routing information for cross-cluster server migration of Windows Azure SQL Database. * Provided implementation of cleanup of old backups based on the specified retention policy for a project implementing storage of SQL server backups in cloud * Worked on high availability of Windows Azure SQL Database, investigated reasons for login failures finding root causes and fixing issues.

* Implemented new DateTime types for SNAC OLEDB provider; sparse columns for SNAC OLEDB provider and ODBC 3.8 asynchronous APIs. * Implemented metadata improvement for OLEDB provider and ODBC driver using new SQL server stored procedures: sp_describe_first_result_set and sp_describe_undeclared_parameters. * Designed and implemented new BCP APIs: bcp_set_bulkmode and IBCPSession2::BCPSetBulkMode. * Implemented connection resiliency feature of ODBC driver. * Oversaw a standalone release of ODBC driver (simultaneous release of the driver for Windows and Linux).

* Implemented enhancement of OLEDB provider to use SOS (SQL server OS) interfaces for memory management and synchronization while running inside the SQL server process for the purposes of heterogeneous queries (linked-servers scenarios). * Implemented substantial improvements in the area of memory management (for instance using lockless look aside buffers). * Contributed to the documentation of ADTG protocol: BNF representation, provided network captures and annotated protocol samples. * Maintained the source branch for MDAC team: launching builds, managed build machines, sent relevant mails communicated build status and information from other branches, and provided reverse and forward integrations.

* Provided hotfixes for mission critical customer issues; supporting a broad range of MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components): * Jet ODBC, Oracle ODBC, Oracle OLEDB, OLEDB provider for ODBC, ADO, RDS, OLEDB core, Cursor Engine, SQL OLEDB. Debugging customer cases, IIS (Internet Information Services) stress issues. * Completed security review of OLEDB sources fixing security-class issues, and low-memory issues in data access components.
