About Lindsay Kline

Lindsay Kline grew up in a home of entrepreneurs and learned the basics of bookkeeping as a preteen doing it for her father's construction business. As a young adult, she launched a career in accounting and eventually became an accounting manager at an international company overseeing staff accountants and daily operations of multiple multimillion-dollar corporations. In 2011, after the death of her first husband Ben, Lindsay decided to take a sabbatical from the corporate world to begin her college career. To support herself through college, Lindsay launched a bookkeeping business called Sakline Bookkeeping. In 2019, Lindsay graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in Accounting as a Terry Foundation Scholar from the University of North Texas, an AACSB accredited school -- a difficult accreditation held by only 5% of business schools in the nation. In addition to her accounting knowledge, Lindsay has demonstrated excellent communication skills, both in writing and public speaking. In 2015, she received an Emerging Scholar Award in English and a Top Paper award at the Interdisciplinary Student Research Conference. Lindsay has been invited to speak at numerous collegiate events and research conferences. After graduating, Lindsay focused on growing Sakline Bookkeeping, overseeing a remote team of accountants all over the United States. With over 20 years of experience in many aspects of accounting, both domestic and international, Lindsay brought a wealth of experience to each of her clients to their respective industries in health care, wholesale distribution, real estate, retail, construction, transportation, and service. Lindsay sold that firm in 2024.Lindsay has since focused efforts on her newest venture, Great Bookkeepers Wanted, a brokerage of outsourced bookkeeping solutions -- matchmaking business owners to great bookkeeping professionals. Since 2021, Lindsay has headed up a networking organization called DFW Bookkeepers Club, for bookkeepers located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to network, share ideas, discuss best practices, and provide resources.Lindsay also hosts the business podcast called "By the Books" to discuss all things bookkeeping, tax, and business as a resource for small business owners and accounting professionals.

There are thousands of solutions to choose from, but which will be the right fit? Don’t become one of many business owners who came to regret their choice due to theft, poor customer service, or hiring someone who simply didn’t know what they were doing! How it works: We vet out bookkeepers all over the world, asking them a series of questions regarding their experience, qualifications, team, size, succession, client demographics, cyber security protocols, client references, and so much more. We interview each bookkeeping professional and, if they pass our qualifications requirements, they are placed in our network of bookkeepers. When someone comes to us with a need for an outsourced bookkeeping solution, we ask a series of questions to determine the scope and nature of the needs of your organization. Then, we match those needs up to the bookkeepers in our network that most closely align with your needs. Best of all, it costs you NOTHING – we receive a finders fee from the bookkeeping professional, so there is no risk to you to give us a try and allow us to help match you up to the best fit for your organization so you can focus on other things.
