• Responsible for surveying proposed overhead and underground power lines; actual staking of electric lines and facilities. This includes obtaining field data consisting of distances, elevations, line angles, location of.
• The surveying requires that I have the ability to use all Trimble GPS and conventional surveying practices.
• My duties involve creating AutoCAD drawings for survey notes and easement purposes requiring the knowledge of survey mathematics and The Public Land Survey System/GLO’s (Government Land Offices).
• I also research the company's records, and outside sources (Bureau of Land Management (BLM), State Land, County, City, etc.), to determine the company's prior rights.
• This position also requires that I submit the proper permits for construction of the company's electric facilities.

Elko Nevada

• Responsible for all underground surveying at the mine site using conventional surveying practices and C.M.S. I was responsible for the setting out of primary control at 4 mines, including the start up of 2 new mines.
• Implemented standards and procedures for all survey control work at the 4 active mines, and was Project Surveyor for the 2 new mines.
• I was required to do ACAD and PROMINE work concerning designs, drawing of as-builts, spread sheets for weekly and monthly advances, and volume calculations for tonnage mined from data obtained by conventional surveying.
• Responsible for weekly & monthly measurement of every active heading, producing factual maps showing necessary information required by the engineers and miners.
• Surveying experience in Underground at Jerritt Canyon, Midas and Barrick Mines.

Elk Nevada

• Responsible for all surveying at the mine site, which includes monitoring of slope stabilization, laying out drill hole patterns, grade, limits, and ore control.
• Responsible for numerous construction projects, exploration projects, mine claim and boundaries using standard surveying and G.P.S.
• Engineering duties include designing rock dumps, aerial control, leach pads, pit plans, and volume calculations, using ACAD.
• Assisted in building a 14-mile road and the start up of the Rain Pit.
• Surveying experience in open pit at Newmont Gold and Dee Gold.
