I went to Massage Therapy School in Arizona to get the basics of a different form of healing. The school was inspirational, as it gave me ideas from the holistic views on health and how to incorporate that into my own practice. I worked in a chiropractor's office in Arizona while attending massage school in Phoenix. This was a great experience for me to get into the field and learn on other people other than my classmates.I also worked at a salon/spa in Colorado that was rewarding as well and gave me a different perspective on massage.I knew I wasn't done there with helping people so I went on to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. After each set of my clinicals I knew that it was the best career choice for me and I could use my massage skills to help the patients.I currently am attending the Bachelors of Applied Science online program through Pima Medical Institute with an emphasis in Physical Therapy Assisting. I will graduate February 2015. I plan to continue my education at a later date to complete the doctorate of physical therapy program. I also would like to expand my massage therapy career and become certified in lymphedema.A goal for me some day is to work for a Shriner's children's hospital to help give back to children that are in need.Specialties: The use of my hands to heal someone is an amazing experience through massage therapy and physical therapy.
