At AWS Aerospace and Satellite, I'm working with an excellent team to help people and companies realize their goals of moving not just to the cloud, but to space. I'm also leading our Generative AI for Space initiative -- we're thinking big about how our customers can use generative AI in all aspects of their missions. Prior to AWS, I co-founded Clovis Technologies, where we built software to help financial institutions take a new approach to detecting fraud and money laundering. I was introduced to the field when I was a director on Capital One's Card Fraud Data Science team, developing innovative fraud solutions. While at Capital One, I also had the pleasure of leading a variety of projects in Capital One's Innovation Lab, including the development & implementation of a fusion cell methodology that united Data Scientists with AML Investigators.Part of my passion for technology comes from my 14 years with the U.S. Government, where I was an applied research mathematician. During that time, I built expertise in large-scale data analysis, programming, statistics, and cryptographic protocols, as well as technical leadership and very creative problem solving.
