Working alongside a small team, I play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day activities of the Parts department and development of its members.My main responsibilities include:·Supplier relationship management. Including price negotiation and warranty returns.Processing and coordinating the dispatch of parts and other items required by Field Service Engineers.Raise quotations, process and dispatch orders for our clients.Purchasing materials and spare parts as required for all our departments such as CAD, Projects, WKSP and Service.I keep a clear record of all transactions and maintain an accurate record of purchase orders, delivery notes, pricing, storage locations using the in-house Company CRM system. By keeping and exploiting these records internally has had me working closely with our systems manager in developing new processes, which increase efficiency within the company.Coordinate and expedite shipments from domestic and international suppliers. Adhering to the new guidelines put in place for BREXIT.Monitor stock levels and replenish as required.Handle ad-hoc enquiries.Assist with regular stock, in particular quarterly and annual stock taking.Main point of call for interdepartmental communication.Arranging hire equipment for our service Engineers. Ensuring that the correct equipment is requested in a timely manner.

Working alongside the imports manager in delivering targets & KPIs to the business, whilst helping to ensure products meet strict quality control requirements including CE marking and adhering to strict compliance checks.My main responsibilities included:Responsible for communicating to external booking agents and updating shipping rates. Keeping a documented track of the status of shipping containers. Notifying ‘Goods In’ on changes to shipments and when containers land in the UK for them to be booked into the warehouse.Importing and undertaking OEM on products from international suppliers, establishing a long-term relationship with manufactures in the middle east. Regularly finding and importing samples of potential products, reviewing, testing and turning them into orders.Communicating to different departments within the company to ensure effective understanding across all expanding and growing internal relationships.Providing relevant information for new products to the manufacturer followed by reviewing and approving artwork, designs and packaging of new OEM products. This also entails ensuring all OEM products have image galleries and descriptions prior to arriving in the UK Warehouse to be sold on site and that a marketing plan is in place.Booking containers with our external booking agent. Communicating to our middle east supplier regarding pre-shipment inspections, booked to maintain a high standard of our import products and loading our containers onto a ship. Monitoring the shipments and communicating to the warehouse staff on incoming orders. Often calculating freight charges for incoming imports and passing on the relevant costing to the accounts team.Accounting for all payments for direct orders from manufactures and ensuring payment terms are met. Taking the companies ideas and my own to enhance the websites Office and Gaming range. This has led to making a substantive increase in the company’s Revenue and Margin targets for imports.
