Managed the publishing process (from manuscript submission to publication) for new titles from authors such as John Eldredge, Donald Miller, Angela Thomas, Dave Ramsey, Mark Atteberry, Erwin McManus, Franklin Graham, Sheila Walsh, John MacArthur, and many more.

Hired and directed independent designers to create book covers, as well as wrote (or commissioned others to write) marketing copy that would be used on book jackets and covers.

Over the years I have done various freelance projects including proofreading, copyediting, writing articles and books, and creating marketing copy for book covers.

Moorings was a small upstart publishing arm of Random House, and because we had just a few hands on deck, I pretty much did whatever was needed: edit, proofread, managing process, make coffee, send out overnight packages, etc.

Wrote copy for brochures, catalogs, and direct mail pieces for local businesses.

Wrote and acquired articles as well as managed the publication of a church product called FREEWAY, which was distributed to high school students on a weekly basis. While there, this publication won an ECPA award.
