Since I was a child I remember Christmas breaks, Spring breaks, and Summer breaks, spent at the shop. Sweeping floors, helping with hand work, and getting to answer the phone when I finally got old enough. Back then I was not fond of the though of going to work on all my school breaks, but as I've grown I have realized what a privilege it truly was to be gifted those experiences by my parents. I learned quickly the value of a dollar and the value of relationships especially in our industry. The printing industry flows in my families veins, my grandparents started in 1967 with Lompa Printing, in its prime hosting six printing presses and 25 employees. Then in 1990 my father started On Line Bindery with only saddle stitching, folding, and gluing. Compared to now we have been blessed to grow substantially and now host many extremely talented employees and state of the art equipment, making us the most capable bindery shop in Northern California. But none of that would be possible without two things: the printers that have trusted us with their jobs and put faith in us since the beginning, and our fantastic employees who constantly go over and above and have truly created On Line Bindery to be more of a family than a business. We deeply appreciate everyone who has been able to contribute to where we are today, and those who have continued to put their trust in us to create beautiful things with paper. I am so excited to be able to have the opportunity to take On Line Bindery into the 2nd generation and be able to carry on my families legacy in this great industry!
