Core Responsibilities:• Demand Planning for all MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) categories, by assessing prior purchases, receipts, consumption trends and the current year annual business plan then completing and distributing the categories across the team for conversion of corresponding categories into rate contracts.• Identification, evaluation, and selection of suitable suppliers based on prior performance (on-time delivery, on-site assistance, adherence to contract stipulations), end user feedback, and contract execution competence.• Finalization of the packages by conducting negotiation with selected suppliers via F2F (face to face), E- Auctions (Reverse, Dutch and Japanese), telephone and email.• Inventory management of materials categorized in the Min Max category and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) of the Bearing Category.• Coordination with internal stakeholders (Internal User, Finance, Stores, Security) and external stake holders (suppliers) and maintain the relationships.• Member of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team for the Ariba Implementation at JSW Group• TQM Implementation in Commercial department.• Emergency procurement of the materials on site in accordance with the requirements.Achievements:• Project Athena: Procurement Initiatives at Dolvi, MRO Initiative, Welding Electrodes: Consolidation, Standardization and Finalization of Material Codes and Suppliers across locations at a national level with a 30 % cost decrease compared to previous levels i.e., about Rs. 3 Cr.• Conversion of about 12000 Material Codes out of 32000 material codes into Rate contracts to decrease day-to-day activities of spot purchases and low value order finalization.• Certificate of Excellence for Significant Contribution in Commercial Daily Work Management among Service Departments (2019-20)• In front of jurors and audit committees, representing the commercial department.

Core Responsibilities:• To provide Industrial Safety, Total Productive Maintenance, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Part handling training to shop floor associates, new joiners, and team members.• Coordinating and aiding with CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) projects as well as monitoring the status for the improvement opportunities or deviations from the set standards as mentioned in the KPI improvement meetings.• VSDia (Value Stream Design in Administrative Areas) projects to be identified, create standards, administer any deviation and implementing in the project for the successful completion.• Mapping the team’s training needs and planning trainings and assessments as well as resources, according to the team’s needs.Achievements:• Individual procedures of the Maintenance (TEF-1) department were developed as a process landscape (Business process description) with process graph that included RASIC (Responsible, Accountable, Support, Information, Coordination).• For the Maintenance (TEF-1) department, developed Layered Process Conformation (LPC), as well as the scope and checklist, in accordance with the IATF (International Automotive Task Force) Standard.• Creating guidelines for new hires to complete their training program in a timely manner as well created a competency tracking sheet as well as a standard for tracking the team’s technological and professional competencies.• VSDia project initiated to shorten the time it takes for MAZE (Spare Parts Storage) team to release orders for spare parts.
