Managed small team developing proof of concept applications for the interactive television industry. Work included:- Extensive JavaScript development for television set top box based application- Application controlled video-on-demand libraries, DVR, and tuning- GreenSock animation used library for compelling UI- This application was used to demo SeaChange's capabilities at all the cable industry technical conferences and at CES 2012.

Managed team of smart, talented engineers who are developing interactive TV apps and the server infrastructure to deliver them to millions of households.- Architect for redesign of Rovi Corp's remote access system. The architected system allows customers to use their mobile and second-screen devices (smart phones, iPads, etc) to access their home STBs and control of tuning, video playback and DVR scheduling.- The new architecture eliminated six servers per system deployment, removed redundant and problematic customer registration schemes and allowed multiple cable operators to share a single system deployment. - Technical lead for project integrating iPad/Android devices with set-top boxes. - Modified web service back-end to support both legacy STBs and 'advanced' STBs.
