Since joining The Answer Company in 2010 as Director of Marketing, I contributed directly to the explosive growth & transformation the company is now known for. In my tenure, we grew from 32 staff & 300 clients to 92 staff supporting over 1,500 clients. The company tripled revenue in my time leading marketing, repeatedly landing on BIV's "Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in BC". Transformed from a strong Sage Software partner in W. Canada, The Answer Company is now one of the top partners in N. America. My work to create a professional marketing team and become industry leaders in the quality of our work was critical to every aspect of this growth, and I am exceedingly proud of the results!Specific Achievements:- One of only ten people worldwide invited to Sage International's Marketing Business Partner Advisory Council (BPAC) for 2 yrs and to Sage North America's Marketing BPAC for 6 yrs.- Ownership of all digital channels - 2 complete website rebuilds, 470+ blogs, 26 case studies, 7 different ongoing e-newsletters, and 20+ different email lead campaigns.- Standardized our approach, creating company's first Brand Standards, rolling out NPS scoring, and implementing a searchable repository of all marketing materials.- Integrated marketing & communications management of 4 acquisitions.- Grew email open rates from 8% to 35% and webinar attendees from 1-2 to over 125 regular attendees today.- Wrote & delivered 23 speeches, presentations, and panel interviews.- Produced 16 client events with dinner & activities for 50-100 people across 9 cities.- Managed & coached a team of marketing coordinators & assistants, all of whom have bright careers I am proud of contributing to!- Strong advocate for inclusion, reaching high levels of website accessibility, and working on staff & HR policies.- Co-founded the Corporate Social Responsibility program which has led to 13,000+ volunteer hours and over $100,000 in direct contributions to charities and non-profit events.

Shortly after starting in the role, Krystal Resorts separated from NH Krystal Hotels, creating an opportunity for all four properties to have a complete re-brand. As the person responsible for all English language marketing & promotions for the new Krystal Resort chain, I designed new brand standards & design themes for each property, as well as 4 new property websites with a new brand voice/tone, and completely new content. This role also involved:- creating & developing social media presence for all 4 properties, focusing on English language North American market- writing all English language content, including hotel websites, press releases, and advertisements;- coordinating all English language hotel listings on external websites such as Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.;- negotiating promotions & contracts with North American tour companies & airlines including Air Transat & Air Canada;- designing unique packages for different markets & tour operators, for each of the 4 hotels' unique value propositions;- providing all TV interviews & tours of the properties for visiting dignitaries, VIPs, and travel agents in both English & Spanish- traveling throughout North America to meet with & regularly do presentations for travel partners, agents, and tourism partner call centre staff directly;- working with local teams at each property to ensure expectations of English language visitors were translated to all staff for large groups, weddings, and special events;- developing brand awareness outside of Mexico, specifically targeting Canada & United States;- networking with local & international tourism organizations to promote tourism to Mexico.
