As Managing Director I am co-Executive Leader of one of the most prominent Theatre for Young Audiences in the US. In addition to serving as Managing Director, I held the Artistic Director role as an Interim from March, 2020 to July 2023, during which time I convened SCT’s first ever Artistic Advisors Circle. In partnership with SCT, this group of diverse theatre makers assisted in programming two SCT seasons, including the commissioning of 5 new plays. Other key accomplishments during my time so far at SCT have included:In this role I am responsible for leading an organization of 40 FTE and an additional 150 seasonal, part time and contract employees.I served as sole Executive Leader throughout the Covid pandemic, navigating an organizational shift to digital artistic and educational programming, and then back to in person.Crafted and found a funding partner for SCT’s one&five program, providing free access to SCT Field Trips for all Seattle Public School’s first and fifth grade classes.Retired over $2 million in accumulated debt and established new cash reserve, now at over $4 millionLed staff, board and community members in the creation of a 20 year facilities vision plan. SCT is currently in the midst of a fully funded phase 1.

At Town Hall I led:The Campaign for Town Hall, a capital fundraising effort to fund a $28+ million renovation of our historic home. Leading a team of 7 in the annual fundraising for Operations. The fiscal year 2018 goal is $1.6 million from membership, annual fund, special events, government, foundations and corporations.Leading a team of 5 in the Marketing & Communications efforts in support of institutional messaging, annual operations and The Campaign for Town Hall.Working as part of Executive Leadership Team to partner with the board in setting strategic goals and initiatives, building out and managing an annual operations budget and multiyear campaign budget.Participation on board committees including: Finance, Development, Capital Steering and Capital Planning.For more on Town Hall and The Campaign for Town Hall please see:townhallseattle.orglovethistown.org

Participated in creating and executing the plan for the Annual Fund expected to contribute a total of $3.5 Million through: new donor acquisition; donor retention through monthly renewals, direct mail campaigns, email campaigns; and telephone fundraising.Collaborated with the Board of Directors on strategic asks including new Major Gifts and renewals, resulting in multiple gifts of over $100,000.Surpassed goals for Contributed Income every quarter.
