I am the founder and CEO of megaventory.com, a super light and simple web-based ERP application used by organizations and businesses to manage inventory, manufacturing and sales. In the past, I co-founded diveshop.gr (2004-2009) and being its CEO, diveshop.gr became the market leader in the Greek retail diving sector after just two years of life.Since 2007, I am lecturing software development at the Department of Financial & Management Engineering (University of the Aegean) and I have being actively involved in numerous research and non-research projects related to transportation and logistics. Finally, I worked for Siemens ICS (2001-2003) as a telecoms engineer. I hold a PhD in Operations Research from the University of Aegean (Greece) and BEng + MSc degrees in Telecoms from the University of Essex (UK).I am father to two beautiful young ladies and I love sports and the sea: I am a keen freediver and spearfisherman (directed, produced and acted in a spearfishing/freediving DVD in 2004). Research OfficerUniversity Of The Aegean Nov 2003 - Sep 2010Mytilene, Aegean, GrAs a research contractor in the Gov. funded project "MO.R.S.E" (2003-2005), I was involved in analysis and specification of the system and in developing (in MatLab language) the re-routing algorithms used by the MO.R.S.E system to re-route in real-time a fleet of vehicles responding to an unplanned emergency situation. The research project was successful and the emerged system (HW&SW) was also incorporated in supply chain distribution companies.As a research contractor in the EU funded project "TRANSit" (2009-2011), I was involved in analysis and specification of the system and in developing the front-end interface (asp.net & css) for the TRANSit platform. The platform itself provides a simple web interface and calculates intermodal transportation routes to help transportation carriers and forwarding companies find green cargo routes in Europe without using the road network.

CeoDiveshop.Gr Nov 2004 - Nov 2008I co-founded diveshop.gr (Original company name: Mamassis K., Kamarianakis I. GP) which started as the 1st Greek e-shop for underwater sports (freediving, spearfishing, snorkeling and scuba-diving). As a CEO, I was involved in all aspects of managing a startup company and especially in building a the company identity, sales and marketing strategy and developing customer care guidelines. I was also involved in day-to-day operations such as maintaining the web-site, answering customer emails and preparing orders (picking, packing and dispatching). In 2006 diveshop.gr launched a franchise network with the first retail shop opening up in Heraklion (Crete, Greece). The company soon became the largest retail distributor of underwater sports equipment in Greece reaching more than $1M in sales (2008) when I stepped down as its CEO.

Leading a group of 4-6 people (HW technicians and antenna installers). Performing the measurements and fine tuning of the antenna and hardware equipment and delivering the installation to the client by signing the associated work-order document.(2002-2003) Engineer in charge for a very high capacity fiber optic Siemens built device (SXA). Dealing with new device installations (leading a group of 4-6 technicians and installers), live traffic, technical support and SW upgrades. Gave an extensive 40-hour technical seminar to 8 high qualified Vodafone engineers regarding telecommunication protocols and best practices for the SXA and awarded a bonus for my achievement in it.
