Build and delivered a 0 to 1 product (platform and product) for search, recommendation, and personalization across Roblox's different product footprints including (not limited to) Game Discovery, Homepage, Avatar Marketplace, Developer Marketplace, User/Friends, Groups etc.- Improved game engagement by more than 12+%, Avatar marketplace revenuw 10+% adding overall 10% to overall marketcap to #RBLX (~2+ B USD)- Build the Vision for Discovery and personalization for Roblox. Defined the product requirements, planned iterative delivery to deliver customer value in quickest possible manner, and ultimately delivering the platform for all of the Roblox for Search, Recommendation & Personalization. - Designed the overall architecture, worked with engineering and product to strategize the product roadmap.- Build the org ground up from 3 engineers to all the way up to 6+ teams including data, system, ML/ranking & quality engineering. - Build deep understanding around evaluation of quality of game and what makes a game successful at Roblox. Collaborated a lot with many Game Developers on the platform.- Envisioned, designed, and delivered a feature platform (for ML/Ranking) to support all of Roblox. - Monitor and optimize the product over the period of its lifetime by defining and monitoring key metrics from user success, operation, and cost perspective.

Lead the eBay’s core Search Engine- Cassini. Cassini is home grown search engine serving Billions of queries, holding billions of documents (products/listings) in its indexes. The Cassini holds many corpuses apart from the listing such as reviews, sold items, products, Machine Learned model data, and auto complete. - Help build technology and product strategy and road map for eBay’s search and executed.- Transform the team to agile development and also Played the role of Agile Leader for the team. - Cost optimization of around $35+ million/year by reducing CPU & memory requirements.- Build and launched Image Search for eBay and to do so, brought native Vector and its operation support. - Build and managed up to 13+ engineers including 2 dev-ops. Managed development, dev-ops, dev-tools, performance engineering, SRE and ops.

KonnectX tries to brings intelligent scheduling and high customer visibility and trust in the domain of in house or office services industry such as internet/cable provides, appliance service or any other on-customer premise service industry. Shut-down after running few pilots.

Employee Referral is one of the best way to hire great employees but why employees don't referrer good candidate? Because it is pain. Matching right candidate from their network who not only matches to the current openings at employees company but people in the network are also open and looking for opportunity at the point in time. Then followup with HR/recruiter through email/phones makes the experience horrible. Here comes LI referral. Referral automatically looks into the current opening at the company, and matches automatically with the right candidate in the employees network with matching skills. Just with one click by the employees the candidate is referred, HR/Recruiter get notification and employees gets rewarded. Build a Machine learned based system to find recommendation for (1) Job (2) Referrer & (3) candidate and intersection of it. This product was showcased in LI Talent Connect 2016.This is what I build while at LinkedIn ground up. I was fun journey building a product which I believed in personally and this is why I joined LinkedIn. I also created ATS middleware team ground up.

Telenav is a leading location based product company with products in Mobile Navigation, Hyper-Local Advertising, Mobile Apps, Connected Cars, Local Search and location based enterprise MRM (Mobile Resource Management) and M2M (Machine 2 Machine). Telenav has approximately 34 million subscribers worldwide — connecting with us from mobile phones, tablets, computers, cars and developer applications. I was the owner of (web, middle layer and backend) for Telenav's Enterprise product line. I led M2M product from conception till production and own the post production enhancement and maintenance. My teams consists of team in US as well as in China. Some of our customers include fortune 500 companies and large government organization.I wrote and owned GPS store which is custom storage system and query engine for location aware queries. This System powered all the GPS storage (close to 1 B data point update daily) and supported 100's M query daily.

Voxify is a VC funded startup providing innovative speech based call automation application to clients, such as Continental airlines, Air Canada, Hotels.com, Emirates Airlines, Victoria’s Secrets (VSD), in the vertical of Airlines, hotels, customer care industries. Major organizer in creating Voxify’s platform support for Spanish/French Language applications development. Established staffing requirements, consolidated business requirement through collaboration between several teams. Voxify has more than 3 clients now using this facility. Enabling this language support has potential to increase Voxify’s business by 40% in next 2 years.  Development Lead for multiple projects, accounting for more than 35% of this year’s revenue, in several function areas such as Flight Information, Order Status, Store Locator, Prescription Refill etc. for clients such as Air Canada, Emirates Airlines, Victoria’s Secrets, DSW Shoes, and Rite Aid. Main technologies/tools used were Java, Servlet, Web Services/OTA, Hibernate/JDBC, VXML, SOA etc.  Led the efforts for design and development of audio rendering related libraries in Java. These libraries give Voxify’s application a distinct competitive advantage over its competitors because these libraries are more versatile, realistic and ready to use.  Mentored team members for Voxify’s development and deployment practices. Led pre- and post-sales discussions with multiple customers such as Air Canada, Rite Aid and VSD.

Tellme is the market leader in speech application development and hosting. Tellme provides its services to clients such as UPS, USSA Bank, Wells Fargo, and American Airlines in the verticals of Travel, Finance and industries. Led Tellme’s first application development effort as Technical lead and Integration Architect with partner’s development teams located in multiple geographic locations. Successfully led a team of 4 engineers to deliver complete banking and trading application for USSA Bank using technologies such as Java, web services, Java Script, Apache etc. Worked on and delivered UPS online services such as track-a-package, schedule a shipment, drop box/store locator, tariff finder through voice.

Led a team of 5 engineers to deliver Handwriting Recognition Development Toolkit. Main responsibilities designing and development of a development toolkit for development and implementation of complex algorithms, design and development of APIs, using C++ and Java.

Led a 4 member team to enhance online printing tool (Cascade) for HP printing solutions lab. This tool enables user to publish, manage and print documents/pictures online. Main technologies involved were Java, J2EE, Servlet, XML/XSL, HPAS, Oracle DB. Took the initiative as representative of Printing Solutions Lab for the knowledge pool development initiatives for HP ISO. Main Responsibilities included identification and development of reusable component and packaging it in a way that other teams could use the reusable components.
