Interventions Effectiveness: Analyzed HCSIS, and EIM interventions data for evaluating various intervention strategies that enhance living conditions for intellectually disabled individuals. Created reporting mechanism with statistical analyses for inter-office circulation, and PA regulatory submission for annual budgeting exercise. The project resulted in application of targeted, and most effective interventions, leading to prudent budgetary cost reductions while improving interventions’ outcomes.Pennsylvania - Allegheny County Supports Intensity Scales (SIS) Project: Created data extraction, storage, and analysis applications for SIS allocation at Allegheny County Office of Intellectual Disabilities. Analyzed post SIS allocation data, identified underlying correlations with Individual Service Plan, and performed regressive analyses to substantiate impact of SIS adoption on Allegheny County budget as a part of PA State Pilot Project. Pennsylvania adopted and began implementation of SIS in all counties based on the projected cost savings.County/State Compliance Reporting: Supported several projects, and multiple teams across the OID system to provide quality improvement, risk management, and compliance reports for county/state submissions, and assistance in Administrative Entity Oversight. Provided Support Coordination Organizations HIPAA compliant data and technical assistance based on their business requirements through data integration from multiple systems.Drug and Alcohol Data Integration: Implemented data management and reporting process for Drug and Alcohol unit of Allegheny County to address concerns of data overload leading to better reporting practices and administrative operations.

Sepsis Mortality Improvement: Researched peer reviewed, evidence-based medicine literature, while working alongside the Chief Medical Officer, to develop sepsis treatment compliance protocols for ER physicians. Improved quarterly reporting by analyzing data while using Meditech, an EMR application, for the UMMS sepsis quality improvement project. Enhanced protocols, as well as robust reporting led to a 40% decrease in mortality rate, and a 30% improvement in compliance. Hospital Compliance Monitoring: Reported compliance of inpatient data sets (core measures) with the guidelines from Joint Commission and CMS as a part of Maryland Hospital Association Quality Indicator Project. Facilitated efficient use of information through active interactive discussions with Physicians, Nurse Managers, and the Vice-President of Quality Improvement in order to improve processes affecting core measure compliance. This resulted in mandated compliance, patient outcome and documentation remaining at par for Joint Commission requirements.
