Conflict is uncomfortable for most of us - yet it is a part of every relationship we have, whether at work, at home, or with friends and extended family. I work with organizations to help them address these issues of conflict, resulting in better employee engagement and productivity. Here are a few ways in which I do this:• Conduct workshops to help employees understand the sources of conflict and how they can learn to respond in healthier, more productive ways;• Assist organizations with developing their own, unique Code of Conduct based on the specific behaviors they want to address;• Address specific "hot spots" in the organization that has led to hostility and the spread of factions and splitting;• Provide individual coaching to abrasive leaders (AKA “bullying bosses”) so they can identify, understand, and reduce their bullying behaviorsI also consult with the owners, family members, and employees of family businesses, turning interpersonal conflicts into healthier, productive teamwork.
