KEVIN CARL, PrincipalBioMr. Carl is a principal at Magnet design + development. He brings over twenty five years of urban and regional planning, architectural, urban design, project management and Owner's Representative experience to the firm that includes a focus wide array of building and sitre development types. Mr. Carl holds a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology, New York, NY and an advanced Certificate in Architectural Design from Milano Politecnico, Milan, Italy and a Master of Urban Design from Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, New York.As a developer, architectural designer and senior project manager, Kevin's involvement with projects spans from their inception through the completion of the tenant move in. As principal, his primary focus at the firm is directing the design, planning and coordination of new development projects and to ensure that the work is completed efficiently and meets the expectations of his partners, clients and tenants. Kevin is a seasoned project leader with extensive experience with a reputation as an efficient manager and owner’s representative for all phases of the design and development process; from initiating development concepts, to design team coordination, interagency negotiations, securing entitlements and other development related services for his clients. Mr. Carl has served as project manager and project architect for the planning, programming, design and development of high profile cultural, civic and private sector projects throughout the United States and beyond.Magnet design+development is currently developing two new 80 bed Memory Care facilities in Spokane, WA, and another in Tucson , AZ. Construction has been recently completed on a new 90 unit senior assisted living project in Covington, WA and the firm is currently developing a new 156 unit AL facility in Bothell, WA.
