Current- Oversaw two transition teams for communications and compliance during the start-up of a new entity. Responsibilities included liaising with regulator, writing internal policies and compliance plans, writing strategic communication plan, ensuring communication plan was executed, reporting to regulator on status of executing the communication project plan and the compliance project plan- Oversee a key pillar of the company’s business plan that ensures revenue growth is achieved in a sustainable and socially responsible manner. Provides strategic oversight to ensure revenue growth and increased operational efficiency through all CSR programs- Led the team that achieved the highest industry certification in responsible gaming by the World Lottery Association, resulting in Indiana being the second state in the U.S. to accomplish certification- Design and implement strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives, including executing a first-ever successful town-hall meeting with key stakeholders. Oversee the execution of key charitable initiatives, employee engagement initiatives, and provides compliance oversight - Oversaw the publishing of the company’s first external report on CSR initiatives using the Global Reporting Initiative’s G4 standards for CSR reports- Act as the site compliance officer ensuring the execution of contractual obligations and negotiating exceptions with the regulator. Analyzes risks through compliance reviews of internal controls, and designs mitigation strategies with management. Liaises with both internal and external auditors
