About Ken Mccall
Long before the Internet of Things, Ken abandoned classical music and frigid Chicago winters for learning to use an oscilloscope in the sweltering Sanoran desert. When school was over, a company from the Lone Star state trained him to fix computers. In exchange for making customers happy, they provided just enough fodder to survive in Silicon Valley. Occasionally, they lassoed him to Texas where they served him Bar-B-Q and forced him to listen to country music. Amazingly, he learned to appreciate country music.Texas was replaced with destinations serving delicacies like fish-n-chips, kimchi and leberknödel. Computers intermingled with electron beams and lasers and all kinds medical instrumentation. He tired of documentation that regularly caused him to miss flights home and believed he could write better docs. He became a technical writer and worked with companies large, small and in between. In recent years he has fallen into the crypto rabbit hole and been fascinated by all things cryptocurrency related - money, blockchain, cryptography (ECDSA, SHA256, etc.), and of course the mother of it all, Bitcoin. In 2019 he became a Bitcoin Certified Professional from the Cryptocurrency Certification Consortium (ID 0dcb36). As an engineering generalist, he loves engaging with diverse technologies. And, because tech writers don't travel, he never has to eat leberknödel any more!------------------------------------------------------------------------Software | Hardware | Crypto | Privacy Advocate > https://medium.com/privateria-info------------------------------------------------------------------------
