I am a dedicated professional with more than 20 years of communications and public relations experience. I also have experience in community relations, public affairs, and event planning. My primary goal is to enhance corporate image and build the brand through internal and external communication channels, government affairs, charitable grant processing, sponsorships, corporate events, and employee engagement. I strive to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to reach business goals.Currently, I develop and lead the communications strategy for one of the largest school districts in Missouri. I am responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of five communication professionals to promote student achievement, innovative teaching, and strategic planning and overall successes to help build awareness. This is done through various forms of communication channels including website, media, social media, photo, video, direct mail, etc. I also coordinate publicity for district-wide special events, lead special projects, serve as a liaison between school district--the community, elected officials, and clergy. I am also responsible for managing and developing crisis communications.
