Being in a management position in most of my jobs thus far, I was consistently in charge of ensuring a developmental experience for my colleagues as they enter their positions. This opportunity has allowed me to develop leadership and management skills that I can use for my career. My years as a student at the University of New Haven have given me specialized training and learning into the social and behavioral aspect of juvenile delinquents and their families. My internship with the Tow Youth Justice Institute paved the way for my most recent positions as a child development specialist and family navigator by allowing me to conduct research and be highly informed in the populations that I serve. I have combined these experiences into a honed ability to develop and maintain relationships with individuals at various levels of leadership and experience.
