I led the development and execution of marketing strategy and campaigns to support growth of the first reservationless conference calling service. At Netspoke, I built a complete marketing team and infrastructure focused on lead generation for our direct sales team. These efforts resulted in 100% YOY growth acceleration. I also managed the complete integration, rebranding and launch program of an acquired web conferencing company. Angel-backed company acquired by Premier Global.

I led product marketing and business development for this venture-backed online reverse marketplace. In this role, I launched the initial service and grew it to 50k+ members. I also moved to a monetization role, developed early cost per lead business model and recruited all business partners. The company was a victim of the .com bubble crash; we returned much of our capital to our investors before ending operations.

I served as an executive team member & head of product, for this venture-backed collectibles marketplace. As employee #5 at Exchange.com, I defined initial product specification and, working in partnership with the development team, launched the first iteration of a music marketplace. Additionally, we integrated an acquired books marketplace to the platform in less than 45 days.Exchange.com was acquired by Amazon.com in 1999 for over $200M. The idea still exists as Marketplace on Amazon with billions in annual revenue, which is pretty cool.

At Sybase, I led product marketing for PowerSite, the web's first application development tool. In this role, I focused on tools for those who previously built client server applications. Powersite, an award-winning application, provided visual tools to create early complex web applications.

I served as product manager for the company's Internet Access Software Suite. Here, I created all of the necessary tools to use the Internet, in the days before a web browser was all you needed. At FTP, I launched both retail product and white label solutions for MCI, British Telecom and Acer. My efforts directly supported the product's growth, from $0 to $30M in annual sales in 2 years.

I launched my tech sector career as a marketing manager for the very first online service to provide Internet access to consumers. Here, I helped grow our subscriber base from 10k users to 100k users within 18 months. Delphi Internet was acquired by NewsCorp.
