Media Systems Engineering Manager
Current- Planning, installing and support of all hardware and software required by Editorial including Avid Media Composer, Avid Nexis Storage and Pro Tools systems.- Research and development of new technology that may benefit the studio’s many workflows. - Planning and maintaining department budgets.- Managing the Media Engineering team projects and day to day tasks.- Develop and maintain color accuracy across the facility.- Develop and maintain Hiero dailies playback systems, Christie Projectors, Datasat Audio Processors and Doremi Showvault DCPs.- Define technical standards/workflows and oversee/work on major installations and updates.- Collaborate with Production Technology developers to create and/or update in-house applications for various departments.- Design, Install and maintain onsite conference areas, screening rooms and theaters.- Program Extron and RTI devices to allow for easy operation of screening and conference rooms.- Support Data Wrangling team in running dailies sessions and Post Production work.- Years of experience working with Mac OSX, Windows, Linux, Adobe Suite, Microsoft 365, Avid Media Composer (ACSR MC and Storage Certified), ProTools HD (HW an SW), Davinci Resolve, Virtual Production, Unreal, Dolby CineAsset, Doremi ShowVault DCP, Christie, Datasat, Barco, NDI, DMX Lighting Systems, Blackmagic, AJA, Eizo, Flanders Scientific, Sony OLED, Epson, Klein Instruments, CalMan, Ethernet and Fiber network systems, Server Management/Maintenance,
