We at the development department are taking care of process automation, car surveillance and other important stuff that makes Driveto so awesome! 😍———I’m taking care of other developers in our IT department; I want to have our team members responsible as I want to rely on them instead of being their “parent” 🙂I’m also trying to pass on my knowledge to them. Primarily about things like automation, (unit, integration, …) testing and manage of technical debt 🤓Another part of my job is making our app extendable and future-proof. This wouldn’t be possible without self-learning in a development world and without watching current trends in a backend part of the world and also in the frontend part; and of course it’d be all useless if we didn’t apply them 😊I’d like to also mention that we’re using agile technics to achieve our goals and currently I’m partly responsible for things managed normally by a scrum master. The team was used to have “punk sprints” and they didn’t care about some important things like estimation, velocity, technical discovery and others — now the sprints are more predictable and almost everytime we’re able to accomplish our commitment ❤️ but there’re still some issues we want to improve.

Taking care of 4 other senior backend developers, while trying to introduce more sophisticated approaches of development to the whole company. We just want to:- Be more agile!- Be more strict!- Be more robotic ... I mean automatic!- Be more happy ❤️

Make Spendee experience more awesome with asynchronous approach made by the usage of Firestore, nodejs and queues. But also responsible for keeping the codebase in great shape with all sort of tests, best practices and code-love!
