As the founder and president of GLAS Education, I am committed to ensuring that all who want the opportunity to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math have the chance to do so. Projects at GLAS range from creating accessible curricula and data analysis software to summer intern programs and public star parties. Everything we do at GLAS has a clear focus on accessibility and multigenerational engagement in astronomy and STEM. Accessibility of real data is a passion project of mine. In 2020 I gathered groups of people together who were already creating data accessibility through sound. A lot of this work was overlapping and I wanted people to be able to rely on each other's expertise. This one-time gathering continues today as the Sonification World Chat and has expanded to more than 90 people internationally. It is made up of scientists, programmers, musicians, educators, and sound engineers.
