Born and raised in Lexington, Meredith Lane helps people buy and sell homes, as a partner in The Lane Team at Bluegrass Sotheby's International Realty.Meredith was nationally recognized as REALTOR® Magazine's 30 Under 30 Class of 2013 and is a Lifetime Member of the Top Producers Club through the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors. She was also featured on an episode of HGTV's House Hunters in 2018 and has been interviewed on national radio and television shows about the real estate industry. A new construction and relocation specialist, Meredith is knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate, including sales, residential marketing and promotion, public relations, planning, organizing, problem solving and negotiating. Meredith and her mother own and operate the short-term vacation rental properties, Cave Run Cabins at the Brownwood and Cave Run Lodge by the lake in Morehead, Kentucky. Prior to becoming a Realtor®, Meredith graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She worked in the broadcast news industry both on-air and behind the scenes for CBS and NBC affiliates (WKYT and WLEX-TV), in publishing, public relations and marketing. She also hosted a weekday radio show for 8 years on iHeartMedia in Lexington, Kentucky. She co-owned the regional business and economic news magazine, The Lane Report, from 2015-2020, following the passing of her father, Ed Lane.In her free time, she appears in freelance television and radio commercials, as an emcee at events and various TV hosting work for local businesses. She also loves chasing her wild, sweet and fun two year old son around every chance she gets and being active.
