Develops and maintains effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedures and provides training to maintenance personnel. Formulates and conducts building-related systems and equipment training. Monitors employee licenses and training activity for compliance. Oversee the construction and implementation of Sprinkler Systems in new and existing buildings, hospitals, schools, and all other types of facilities. Act as the direct point of contact for ABCO Peerless Sprinkler for the General Contractor on the assigned project. Work with ABCO’s other Project Managers to efficiently manage the union labor to meet both project deadlines and company financial goals. Serve as the subject matter expert on all NFPA requirements, sprinkler-related systems, and fire alarm-related systems.

Communicate with the System Operations Department on unit dispatch and outages and electrical switching. Report environmental incidents in a timely manner and prepare appropriate reports. Prepare reports associated with root cause analysis for investigation of critical incidents. Issue Operating Orders and Work Permits as required ensuring optimal operating conditions. Conduct safety talks and OJTs to reaffirm the critical importance of compliance with all applicable safe work practices and procedures, governmental regulations, and overall development of all direct reports.
