The Director of Strategic Analytics is the catalyst for and driving force of the use of data and data analytics across the enterprise with the use of Cognos BI and Microsoft SQL. This position plans, oversees, manages and is the corporate champion for Business Intelligence functions; supports and organizes the effective and efficient use of all data by end-user; liaison to the Information Technology Department in maximizing the utilization technology to support the use of data and business intelligence. Supports, advises and makes recommendations regarding strategic and business objective of the credit union and engages in research and analysis as requested by senior executives. Ensures the report and analysis needs of uses are met and that use of the EDW/Cognos is maximized. Assures compliance with all credit union policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations

Manager the daily operations of item processing and Finance. Assist in financial reporting and the month end processing. Create branch and department reports and assist in the budget creation process.

Engage in a wide-range of accounting, financial planning, analysis and reporting functions. Responsible for all accounting activities for one subsidiary, assist in the formulation of budgets, perform numerous, extensive budget vs. actual analyses and assist in corporate and state audits. Duties include maintaining Federal Reserve Account, daily trial balance, delinquency reporting and budgeted income statements for all departments and branches. Provide technical expertise to support branches, advising and resolving accounting/finance issues. Deliver periodic presentations to Board of Directors.

Primarily responsible for maintaining accounting records and supporting documentation for institution and branches. Processed accounts payable, balanced ATM’s, prepared and analyzed branch balances, monitored and balanced travelers checks and supported member services.
